The Project

Built in the 1950’s as a cardboard box factory and a book bindery, The Bindery Annex is very much an extension of the nearby, successful Bindery building project on Sandy Blvd that opened in August 2013. Like the Bindery, attention is being paid to the details of The Annex restoration and the design aesthetics.

The Annex offers an energetic, yet casual and comfortable setting with an industrial edge and shared open space.  This multipurpose space is well suited for fitness, food and fun – bringing together urban neighborhoods to inspire a community of proprietors, entrepreneurs and creative of all sorts, who share a passion for excellence and a love of sharing what they do best.

When developing this property developers, Sasha Kirovski and Zeljko Grahovac, looked to their friends, who are talented professionals in design, building, commercial real estate and marketing. This core group shares a passion and a genuine interest for creating a project that helps to reinvent a neighborhood and gives back to the community.

The Bindery team is Tod Breslau, Broker with Premiere Property Group and Managing Partner in the Jupiter Hotel, and Andy Lertiz, Brett Geller and Beachum Jones, the design/build and general contracting partners from DeformNW and Monica Geller, The Bindery project Marketing and PR Director.

Take a short bike ride North, South, East or West and you’ll discover thriving neighborhoods with a rich past and a promising future. No matter what you’re looking for, it’s all here. From large farm fresh markets to specialty boutiques, nationally recognized restaurants to cozy bars, craft brewers of beer and coffee, movie theaters to music and the aroma of fresh baked bread. There’s something for everyone.
